This Privacy Policy explains how SuPlate, operated by Amalienau, Inc., collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our local homemade-food marketplace.

Information We Collect

Account information: information such as your name, email address, phone number, authentication details, account role, and information needed to create or maintain your SuPlate account.

Cook and profile information: profile details, cook onboarding information, pickup-area details, listing content, meal descriptions, photos, availability, messages, support reports, and other content you choose to provide.

Order and marketplace activity: information about listings you view, orders you place or receive, conversations, notifications, favorites, support interactions, and other activity within the marketplace.

Location information: optional location data used to help frame discovery around nearby pickup areas. You can control location access through your browser or device settings.

Payment and payout information: information needed to support checkout, platform fees, seller payout readiness, refunds, and payment reconciliation. SuPlate does not store full card numbers or full payment credentials; payment processing is handled by payment service providers.

Technical and usage information: device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, app interactions, logs, performance data, error events, cookies, local storage, and similar information used to operate and improve the Services.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and maintain accounts, operate buyer and cook profiles, support listings and orders, send transactional notifications, enable support workflows, and provide marketplace features.

We use information to personalize the app experience, show relevant marketplace content, improve discovery, troubleshoot problems, understand product usage, and measure app performance.

We use payment-related information to support checkout, seller payout setup, order reconciliation, refunds, reporting, fraud prevention, and platform accounting.

We use information to enforce our Terms and Conditions, investigate reports, moderate misuse, protect Users, detect fraud or abuse, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

How We Share Information

With other Users where needed for the marketplace: for example, a buyer and cook may see order details, pickup-related information, messages, profile information, listing information, and other details needed to complete an order or resolve support issues.

With service providers that help us operate SuPlate, including hosting, authentication, database, storage, email delivery, maps, payment processing, analytics, monitoring, support, and security providers.

With payment and identity-related providers where needed to process checkout, support seller payouts, verify account or payout status, prevent fraud, and reconcile payment activity.

With legal, safety, or compliance recipients when we believe disclosure is required by law, necessary to enforce our Terms, needed to protect rights and safety, or appropriate to respond to lawful requests.

With consent or at your direction, such as when you choose to share information, connect an external account, participate in a feature, or authorize a disclosure.

We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you for business analysis, product improvement, reporting, or marketplace insights.

Mobile opt-in or SMS consent data, if collected, is not sold or shared with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

SuPlate uses cookies, local storage, browser storage, and similar technologies to keep the app working, remember settings such as language or location preferences, support authentication, improve the user experience, and monitor performance.

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Services, maintain accounts, complete transactions, support Users, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain tax or payment records, and enforce our agreements.

Some information may remain in backups, logs, financial records, legal records, or fraud-prevention records for a limited period even after an account deletion request, where permitted or required by law.

Your Choices

You may update certain account, profile, email, phone, listing, and notification information through the app where those controls are available.

You can manage location access through your browser or device settings. If you disable location access, some location-based discovery features may be limited.

You may opt out of certain non-transactional communications where an opt-out method is provided. We may still send transactional, account, safety, support, or legal messages.

You may request access, export, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. We may need to verify your request and may retain certain information where allowed or required by law.

Children's Privacy

SuPlate is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Users must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where they live, to use SuPlate.

International Users

SuPlate is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be processed, stored, or transferred in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate.

By using the Services, you understand that privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.
